The Wisdom of Children

I went out with my mother and some of her way-fun blue-haired friends the last weekend to a good local seafood place, Beach Pub. The seafood was good, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Definitely worth another visit. Or two. Or 12.

You know how some businesses, especially local ones, will put artwork on the walls done by local schoolchildren? This place was no different, and all evening, one in particular caught my eye.

I couldn't stop staring at it.

It drew me in.

It made me think.

It made me ponder unanswerable questions.

It made me go "Huh?"

"PEACE IN CHICKEN GREASE"

It made me grab my cell phone camera.

Could "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" apply to world peace? Couldn't we all just sit down to a nice fried chicken dinner and work out all our problems?

This child is obviously a deep thinker.

Or a deep fryer.
